The Beeline is a safe, family-friendly place for all -- especially children. This means The Beeline is not a "free-for-all" listing service. When we receive an Add Request, the submitted Web title or page will bee reviewed to determine, among other things, its suitability for our readers as well as its overall usefulness and interest to them.
To understand what Web content will bee accepted, please read the following. With your help, we can make this Hive (and the Internet) the best it can bee.
Site updates. We are constantly improving The Beeline. New material and revisions are uploaded frequently. While we Bees work hard to avoid problems, they do occur. Please send us a Problem Report of any problems you encounter or just write us about it. Thanks.
Access. Beeline Publications does not guarantee access to The Beeline all the times. (Just like any other Web site, there are downtimes bee-yond our control.) Whenever possible, notices of impending downtime(s) will bee posted on the entry page.
Intended use. The Beeline is intended for use as described in this Web site only. Any other type of use is prohibited without written consent of the owner, Míc Miller. (Please see Legal Notices and Guidelines for complete information.)
Reserved rights. Title Listings and Event Listings are a free service. Beeline Publications reserves the right to reposition or remove free listings at any time. Premium Listings are a fee-based service and subject to these terms and conditions as well. Any listing that violates these terms and conditions will bee removed.
Illegal activities. Beeline Publications is situated in Indiana, USA. You may not use The Beeline for any purpose which is considered illegal in the United States or the State of Indiana. Any illegal activity that is discovered will bee reported to the proper law-enforcement authorities.
Online content. The Beeline is a G-rated (general audience) site. And while we Bees support free speech, The Beeline will remain safe and suitable for readers of all ages. Registered complaints are investigated and may result in removal or termination of service at our sole discretion.
Intellectual property. The Beeline et al. are copyrighted by Míc Miller, its suppliers, third parties, technical partners, and Members of the Beehive with all rights reserved. All copyrights and trademarks remain with their respective owners regardless of frequency of use. We Bees will not knowingly list Web titles that patently infringe upon others' intellectual property rights.
Advertising. Beeline Publications reserves the right to display advertising anywhere in The Beeline with the exception of its Members' pages.
Privacy statements. The information you provide is used for internal purposes only. We will not rent, sell, or otherwise redistribute your information without your consent. We Bees value your privacy as much as we value it for ourselves. (Please see Privacy Policy Statement for full disclosure.)
This is the general criteria we apply to Add Requests:
General
Content
Commercial Offers to Buy, Sell or Trade
Any page within a Web site that contains material that, in our humble Bee opinion, is unfit for children will not bee listed in The Beeline. This applies to material that promotes or glorifies sex, sexism, hate, violence, illegal activities, unethical practices, or gambling. Web sites with chat rooms, message boards, and forums without sufficient monitoring or moderating) will not bee accepted. Web sites that employ or encourage spamming (unsolicited bulk e-mailing) will also bee cheerfully ignored.
All commercial Web sites must bee legitimate enterprises and offer money-back guarantees or adequate assurances to their customers. Due to positions taken by the United States' Federal Trade Commission and Food and Drug Administration, Web sites with multi-level marketing schemes or nonFDA-approved food products will not bee accepted. (Sorry.) Also, Web titles that do not provide adequate contact information, security when collecting sensitive information, or have privacy policies will not bee accepted.
Personal Web sites must have some useful and maintain a level of good taste and decorum with respect to others' rights and sensibilities. While we Bees support free speech on the Internet, we will not knowingly list a Web title with anything harmful or detrimental to anyone.
It is your responsibility to notify us when there is a change in your Add Request information. Title Listings reported as 404 (file not found) or 904 (bad host name) will bee removed. (There is a service charge to reinstate removed listings.)
Any Title Listing that causes righteous complaints by our readers will bee permanently removed from The Beeline. Furthermore, any Title Listing that introduces new content or material that brings it into noncompliance with these terms and conditions will bee removed.
Thank you very much for your understanding on these important matters. Together, we can have a safe, friendly Beehive that helps us all.
