Best Resource Site of 2001

Nem5 Best Resource Site of 2001 AwardFor the second year in a row, The Beeline has been presented with a site of the year award from a top-rated award program. This time it comes from the Nem5 Web Maggic Awards Program, one of only a select few programs rated Level 5.0+ by Award Sites!, the premier award-rating service on the Internet.

In her notification to Míc Miller, Maggi Norris wrote: "It is with great pleasure that I write to you today. Your site was chosen as the Best Resource Site of 2001 by this year's annual staff at Nem5 Awards Program. Your site is a shining example of the best resources to be found online. The amount of work and time you have put into your site is amazing. You really earned this one with a lot of hard work and dedication. I am very, very happy to have your site take this award."

The Nem5 Web Maggic Resource Award is given to sites that offer their users an original free resource in a way that makes the site exceptional. The resource must be original, offer help or information in some way and be given at no cost to the user. Sites must maintain design and creative integrity to earn this award. Nem5 defines design as the overall layout and structure of the site, including placement of images, text, fonts, color schemes, skill in HTML and other programming languages used. Of the year's winners, one is chosen the best by an assembled panel of judges from other highly rated award programs.

The Beeline is
first-ever NovaSite!

In their inaugural issue, NetNacs! chose The Beeline for their first featured NovaSite! review. The Beeline was selected by Jef Peace of the top-rated award program PeaceWork Certified Sites.

"The Beeline is one of only eight websites ever to achieve the PeaceWork Certified Sites' Diamond Certification. It is an absolutely amazing website! This site could well serve as the model for all other websites. It is informative, educational and entertaining. We could write a book about what's there, but instead we'll mark this as our number one MUST-VISIT site!"

Debbie Frey, the NovaSite! review editor for NetNacs!, added: "My visit to this website was very inspirational. The Beeline serves as a model for budding webmasters and accomplished webmasters alike. It has an amazing amount of information available in a virtual plethora of subjects and presented in an attractive and easily-navigated scheme that leaves me wondering where any one person could find the time to manage it."

"But one person did. Míc Miller, one of the award community's leading citizens, is the creator, developer, and manager of this incredible website. You'll find Míc at the AS! Forum quite often, lending a word or two of wisdom and lending us all a taste of his excellent humor. Thank you, Míc, for creating and maintaining this landmark website... Bee well!"
