Footer

Footers (as well as headers) help readers move around within large Web sites. All Beeline Web pages have a footer (a set of tool bars) for easy access to site support, Internet access, reference information, and other cool stuff. The Beeline-AIR System also has an extensive system of indices and menus that allow you to search the Hive and Web in several ways.

Tool Bars

The Beeline's tool bars are (in order of appearance):

Top of Page is the B bar for returning to the bee-ginning (top) of the page;
Info Menu is the Info bar for accessing general information about The Beeline;
Index Menu is the Index bar for searching the contents of The Beeline;
What's New Menu is the What's New bar for Beehive news, announcements, notices & additions;
Beehive Awards Menu is the Beehive Awards bar for our Web awards program;
Free-B's Menu is the Free-B's bar for free stuff available from the Web;
Gold Bars Menu is the Gold Bars bar for exclusive online offers;
Write Us Menu is the Write Us bar for telling us what's on your mind;
Add Request is the Add Request bar for submitting an Add Request;
Change Request is the Change Request bar for submitting a Change Request;
Styles Menu is the Styles bar for returning to the Menu Styles selection page;
The Bees Menu is the The Bees bar for information about Beeline Publications;
HiveCD Menu is the Hivelights bar for The Beeline's special features area;
Maps and Plans Menu is the Maps and Plans bar for finding your way around this region and bee-yond;
Forums Menu is the Forums bar for finding discussion lists on various topics;
Search Web is the Search Web bar for finding directories and search engines;
Tips & Tricks Menu is the Tips &Tricks bar for the Helpware area;
Help Menu is the Help bar is for... well, you know this one or you wouldn't bee here;
Keyhole is the Keyhole bar for looking up the legend or more information about the page;
Report Form is the Report Form bar for reporting broken links (or any other problems); and
Home Page and Home Page are the Home Page bars for returning to the start page.


Menu bars appear bee-low the footer's tool bars and let you start a new Beehive directory search with your favorite menu style: Text, Tables, Frames, Buttons, TV, or HiveCD. These menu bars appear as:

Summary

Footers (and their tool bars) are an important feature of large Web sites. Learning to navigate with them helps you make a beeline for what you're after. Bee-low the footer bar are important legal and other notices and perhaps a Gold Bar!
