There are many award programs that are not rated by Award Sites! or any other award rating services. And, of course, not every award can be designated a World's Top Award either. This appendix is a listing of non-rated award programs that you might consider to be worthy of your Web site's trophy case(s). While these award programs' awards cannot be used towards fulfilling the requirements of the Halls of Recognition, they can be used towards a Superb! Website Award. And, who knows, perhaps one day some of these award programs will become rated by Award Sites! -- or an award will become a World's Top Award!

Note: Just because an award program is not rated by an award-rating service, it does not necessarily mean it is of lesser quality, substance, or value. Award givers have various and valid reasons for not submitting their programs for evaluations. Please see Chapter 3, Types of Web Awards, for discussions on how to determine the merits and value of a non-rated award program.
